Welcome to the IFA, a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to the celebration, promotion and preservation of the authentic food culture of Indiana. We are a membership organization of inquisitive eaters, good cooks, culinary historians, chefs, food journalists, restaurateurs, culinary tourists, artisans and manufacturers.

Our membership encompasses a field to table spectrum from agriculture to fine dining, with emphasis on all the specialty foods, farm markets, diners and hands-on restaurants in between that are so dear to the hearts of Midwesterners who love real food.

How do you become involved? Start by joining the Alliance and the conversation. Explore and share treasured stories, recipes and favorite restaurants with fellow foodies. Learn about Indiana food traditions and products. Challenge yourself to become a better cook, a more inquisitive eater, a more active member of the culinary community.

We will help you connect through culinary trails, newsletters, networking opportunities, workshops field trips and symposiums.

Join us at the table for good food and conversation.
