Indiana has a wealth of feasts and festivals. Getting the word out isn't always easy for local communities. Indiana Foodways Alliance wants to help promote such festivities and help local communities be more successful.
Get a taste of some of Indiana's sweetest events

Week of Chocolate, Bloomington, IN
The Week of Chocolate features seven decedent days dedicated to your sweet tooth. Coordinated by the non-profit, Options, the Week of Chocolate partners with several non-profits to benefit the community while enjoying the tasty treats. Week of Chocolate, Bloomington, IN
The 2008 Chocolate Fest is an evening of flavorful tasting of local, regional, and national chocolate vendors. Enter in the Chocolate Creations Contest and sample the other exhibits. Catch up on Valentine's Day shopping while browsing the vendors' boutiques. The tasting continues with wine from Oliver Winery and Upland Brewery. There’s something for the whole family, including puppets for the kids and live entertainment throughout the evening.

All Things Chocolate, Muncie, IN
The sixth annual All Things Chocolate, hosted by Indiana Public Radio, is a community wide bake-off with one requirement—chocolate! The decadent array of chocolaty creations will be available for sampling by the general public during the Tasting Party.
Schocolade Celebration, Madison, IN
An afternoon of chocolate treats, fun and wine make the Schocolade Celebration at the Lanthier Winery an enjoyable time for family, friends, and lovebirds. Gourmet treats, fudge, and a variety other chocolate pleasures are complementary and sure to make a great Valentine's Day date.
Parke County Maple Syrup Fair, Mansville, IN
The annual Maple Syrup Fair features a variety of Parke County syrup producers. Demonstrations, shopping, arts and crafts and more will decorate the fair with plenty of food to go around. Pancakes and sausage with maple syrup will be served at the Parke County Fairgrounds.
